Sun City/Quail Valley Plan Amendment
The Riverside County Board of Supervisors and the Redevelopment Agency for the County of Riverside recently approved the establishment of a redevelopment project area in the communities of Sun City and Quail Valley. With this approval, the project area will make funds available to:
It is important to know that the Agency does not have eminent domain authority in the redevelopment area. You will not be forced to participate in any redevelopment activities. If you do not want financial assistance to make improvements on your property, you do not have to take it. You also will not pay any additional taxes or fees with the adoption of the Redevelopment Plan. This is because funds will be generated by a re-distribution of property taxes, which were fixed by Proposition 13 in the 1970s.
If you have questions regarding the proposed plan, please contact the Economic Development Agency at 951-955-8916 or
