Lori is a full time volunteer for the Third District.

Lori's passion is Women's Issues. In addition, Lori serves on the Blue Ribbon Committee for homeless issues. On April 28, 2007, Lori launches Third District Supervisor Stone's Race for Humanity. Race for Humanity will benefit six non-profits. Alternatives to Domestic Violence, Circle of SAFE-T, Safe Alternatives for Everyone, La Vista Wholeness and Recovery Center, Homeless Shelter/Campus, the American Heart Association, Go Red Campaign.

Lori has been the recipient of awards for her humanitarian efforts:
